What is a Cat Café?

A place where you can relax, grab a bite to eat, and make some new furry friends.

Why do we charge for the lounge?

It helps to cover the cost of food, litter, and additional needs of the cats.

Is there an age limit?

Anyone 8+ is welcome to join in on the fun. Guests under 13 (8-12 years old) must be accompanied by an adult IN THE CAT LOUNGE, and everyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. There may not be more than 3 children per adult 18 or over.

Can I bring food/drink into the lounge?

As long as it came from our café and the drink has a lid you are welcome to bring it into the lounge…but no sharing with the kitties as much as they may want you to.

How Do Gift Cards Work?

There are 2 ways that gift cards can be purchased:

1) e-gift cards can be purchased online under the "Gift Cards" tab. The e-gift card will be sent as an email with a code that can be forwarded to the intended recipient to be used for a future visit.

2) Physical gift cards can be purchased in-store at our location in Eastview Mall.

Gift cards can also be used for walk-ins if space is available, and they can be used on other goods we sell such as snacks, drinks, and merchandise.

How do I book a reservation?

Just go to our website www.lazycatloungeandcafe.com and choose a date and time. You can read and sign the waiver and pay before you come so it doesn’t cut into your kitty loving time.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, refunds will be given until 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Walk-ins are welcome as long as there is space, but reservations are recommended.

What are your days and hours?

Summer Hours (July & August)

Mon: Closed
Tues: 3pm-7pm Wed-Sat: 11am-7pm

Where do our cats come from?

Our feline friends are courtesy of multiple cat rescues, including Animal Rescue Service Rochester, Happy Tails (Ontario County Humane Society), ROC the Dogs Rescue, ROC the Mad Catter, Colony Caregivers, Carol's Ferals, Room for One More, and Flower City Critters. You can learn more about the great things these wonderful rescues are doing here.

Are the cats adoptable?

Yes, Happy Tails (Ontario County Humane Society), ROC the Dogs Rescue, ROC the Mad Catter, Colony Caregivers, Carol's Ferals, Room for One More, Love for Misfit Meeps and Flower City Critters are always looking for loving homes for these fur babies. On WEEKENDS the cat lounge closes from 1:30 pm to 3 pm and 5 pm to 6 pm to give the kitties some much-needed downtime.
